About Tucker Psychotherapy: Tucker Psychotherapy is a trauma-informed private practice located in Barrie, Ontario, providing high-quality psychotherapy services to adults both in-person and virtually across Ontario. While this practice offers virtual options, the practice primarily attracts clients seeking in-person support.

Responsibilities:

· Provide psychotherapy sessions to individuals and/or couples, primarily in-person, with flexibility for virtual sessions as needed.

· Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to client goals and presenting issues.

· Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using the PHIPA-compliant Jane EMR system.

· Collaborate with other health professionals to provide holistic, client-centered care.

· Adhere to all confidentiality, jurisprudence, and ethical guidelines as outlined by your regulatory college.

· Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Qualifications:

· Undergraduate degree in Psychology or Social Work.

· Master's degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology, Couple and Family Therapy, Social Work (MSW), or a related discipline from an accredited institution recognized in Ontario.

· Current registration and good standing with one of the following:

  • College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
  • College of Psychologists and Behavioural Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)
  • Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)

· Minimum of 1,500 hours of direct client contact and 150 hours of post-graduate clinical supervision focused on individual therapy.

· Post-graduate training in at least two recognized therapeutic modalities (e.g., EMDR, CBT, psychodynamic, IFS, etc.), as well as suicide prevention, ethics/jurisprudence, and safe technology use.

· Reliable transportation and ability to attend in-person sessions in Barrie.

· Current professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $5,000,000.

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in digital security, confidentiality, and ethical record keeping.

· Commitment to ongoing professional development.
