THIS IS NOT AN ADMINISTRATIVE OR FRONT DESK POSITION.
Opportunity available in a busy, well-established family wellness practice located in Kanata south. Position includes an upbeat, energetic work environment, and requires someone with exceptional tech and communication skills.
PART-TIME POSITION. Approximately 20 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only, with possibility for more as growth demands.
***PLEASE NOTE HOURS before applying as we do have 3 split shifts.
REQUIRED: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Monday 6:30 - 10:00am and 2:30 – 6:00pm
Wednesday 6:30 - 10:00am and 2:30 – 6:00pm
Thursday 6:30 - 10:00am and 3:00pm– 6:00pm
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-Strong employment history (long-term commitment in previous roles)
-Proficient in data entry, analysis, and spreadsheets (Excel)
-Attention to detail and safety awareness
-Problem-solving abilities and adaptability/willingness to learn
-Professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality
-Management of KPIs, inventory, workflow
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Outgoing, organized, takes initiative, passionate about helping others
-Physical capabilities to sit for periods of time doing computer work and delivering hands-on wellness therapies; sustainable energy levels through busy working day
-Skills in online marketing/social media (creating reels, social media posts, short instructional videos, exercise demonstrations).
ASSETS REQUIRED:
- very strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- quick learner, excellent memory, great work ethic, punctuality and flexibility a must
- high typing speed and accuracy; ability to hold a conversation while taking notes on computer

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Operate and maintain advanced laser therapy equipment, ensuring safe and effective treatments under the supervision of licensed Doctor ( Paid training and certification on laser technology will be provided).
-Manage appointment flow/running appointments on time, entering treatment records, data analysis for ongoing improvement
-Provide instruction on stretching or posture exercises to patients as prescribed by Doctor
-Instruct/oversee whole body vibration platforms use in rehab department
-Oversee inventory and supply ordering for laser and rehab departments.
-conduct progress exam check-ins by asking health history questions and entering information into digital patient file
-taking posture photos using iPad; x-ray set-up for Doctor
-setting up local community outreach events/some cold-calling
-gathering online reviews and testimonials from patients
-Foster a supportive and welcoming environment for patients and other team members
