Job Summary

We are a newly established interventional pain care center located in Markham, Ontario, and we're excited to welcome a dedicated healthcare professional to our growing team

We are seeking someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality care and fosters a safe, supportive environment for both patients and colleagues.

This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into full-time as our clinic expands. While most work will be conducted in person, this is a hybrid option that includes some remote work. (a few hours doing admin tasks)

Duties

  • Deliver safe and exceptional patient care
  • Assist with physical examinations
  • Present cases to physicians and assist in developing treatment plans
  • Complete patient notes, consultation reports, and necessary documentation
  • Schedule patients and manage electronic medical records
  • Handle phone calls and emails
  • Process referrals and faxes
  • Ensure clinic areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Assist patients with forms and documentation
  • Take and record patient vitals
  • Assist in cleaning and preparing procedure rooms for the next patient

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an IMG/clinical assistant
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and patient care best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience using ACCURO would be considered to be an asset to have

Language: English (required) Cantonese/Mandarin speaking applicants preferred

Ability to commute: Markham, ON L3R 9T3 (required)

This is a part-time position with office hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday with 1-2 Thursdays/month and possibly the addition of Wednesdays
