job duties:

  • Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and handling inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
  • Answer phone calls with appropriate phone etiquette, directing calls as necessary.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication within the office.
  • Calling and booking with E.S.A. (Electrical Safety Authority) for Permits.
  • Invoicing clients using Zoho
  • Following up on overdue accounts
  • As required, assist in making travel arrangements such as accommodation, transportation, and equipment rentals for out-of-town projects.

Requirements*:

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role within the construction sector is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and appointment scheduling is highly desirable.
  • Experience with time management software as an asset, but training will be provided.
  • Experienced with QBO or ZOHO
  • Any course related to electrical is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
