Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end QA activities including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Oversee and improve automation test frameworks (if applicable—Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
  • Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with developers for resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and standards.
  • Participate in release readiness reviews and risk assessments.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA analysts and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on QA experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) — if applicable.
  • Solid experience with API testing and tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
