Are you a hands-on Quality Assurance professional who thrives in fast-paced digital banking environments and enjoys both leading and executing testing initiatives? This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to multiple concurrent online banking projects while coordinating offshore QA resources and ensuring flawless delivery.

Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a QA Analyst (Conformiq / Banking) who will oversee and execute end-to-end testing activities across several online banking squads. The ideal candidate will combine strong QA expertise with the ability to manage offshore testers, conduct defect triage sessions, and leverage Conformiq for model-based test automation.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee testing for multiple online banking projects within Personal & Business Banking (P&BB).
  • Provide daily direction and coordination to two offshore testers (TCS, CGI), including early-morning syncs and updates.
  • Conduct daily defect triage meetings, manage defect severity, and drive timely issue resolution (within 24–48 hours).
  • Track testing progress, manage defect turnaround, and deliver daily status reports at the squad level.
  • Utilize Conformiq for test design and automation — guide testers in diagram-based test creation, automated script generation, and object repository management (XPath).
  • Ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency across multiple squads by proactively identifying and escalating risks.
  • Perform hands-on testing and automation when required — this is an execution-driven, not strategic-only, role.
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure testing alignment and quality outcomes.

Desired Skill Set

  • Strong hands-on QA experience in both manual and automation testing.
  • Proven experience leading or coordinating offshore QA teams.
  • Working knowledge of Conformiq or similar model-based test automation tools.
  • Experience in digital or online banking environments.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
