The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is accountable for guaranteeing product quality and comprehensive end-to-end testing across all applications within the deployment environment. This individual will participate in the creation, upkeep, and execution of functional, integration, and regression test suites. Providing thorough, lucid defect reports and collaborating with both the development and support teams to ensure all products adhere to established quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

The Senior QA Analyst for the Datalinx Squad reports to
: the Head of Enterprise Data Delivery, who serves as the Cluster Lead for Datalinx.

*Must Haves:*

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Minimum 6 years hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Strong experience building test automation frameworks
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data mapping and data validations
  • Proven experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Strong experience in Performance testing, database testing and API testing
  • Strong experience in testing large volumes of data using SQL and Python, including Oracle, Mysql, or Postgres
  • Experience providing first level Root Cause Analysis of issues.
  • Experience working in Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP and with big data technologies
  • Strong SQL skills, Python testing with requests
  • Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (eg,. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Pytest)
  • Proven experience testing modern web applications, APIs (REST etc), and/or data platforms
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail

*Nice to Have(s):*

  • Shell Scripting experience
  • Experience working in AWS, with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Hive
  • Previous experience in Capital Markets Industry, specifically with equity markets and data quality management
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to follow through on projects assigned
