Summary
Short-Term Positions: 6-month contract
We are seeking 2 passionate, nurturing RECEs/ECE Apprentices or other qualified candidates with relevant experience to join our preschool classrooms at our Northwest Childcare location.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in a safe environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical needs through engaging play and interaction.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.
Requirements
- Experience in early childhood education.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on child development.
- Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere for children.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of working with children with disabilities is an asset.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $19.97-$25.86 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
