About Us
We are a growing small business with both an online store (Shopify) and an in-store retail presence. We focus on providing excellent customer service and a smooth shopping experience for our customers. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team in a flexible, part-time role.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, handling online orders, and learning the day-to-day operations of an e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, online channels, and in-store
- Assist customers with product questions, order updates, and general support
- Handle customer service issues in a professional and friendly manner
- Learn and assist with order processing, shipping, and fulfillment
- Update and maintain accurate order and customer records
- Assist with basic administrative and operational tasks
- Support online store operations using Shopify
- Help ensure inventory and stock information is kept accurate
- Maintain a positive customer experience both online and in person
Requirements & Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and comfort using technology
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is recommended
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Preferred (Assets, Not Required)
- Experience in customer service, retail, administration, or order processing
- Basic knowledge of Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Experience answering customer emails or handling online inquiries
- French language skills are an asset but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
