Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a financial Controller based in mid-town Toronto. The Controller will oversee financial operations, manage the accounting team and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include financial reporting & analysis, budgeting, cash flow management and review of tax returns. The role also involves optimizing internal processes and providing insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Cash Flow Management
- Experience with Financial Planning, Risk Management, and Compliance
- Skills in Accounting Systems, Financial Analysis, Corporate Income Tax
- Strong ability in Team Leadership, Communication, and Decision-Making
- Proficiency in real estate software (Yardi) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation is required
- Previous experience in the real estate or property development sector is an asset
