Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Associate to provide comprehensive IT support to our internal teams and clients. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network connectivity, and ensuring optimal performance across various operating systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of computer networking, operating systems, and support tools. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Assist users with VPN setup, configuration, and connectivity problems.
  • Manage service requests using ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or similar ticketing systems.
  • Support network infrastructure including LAN configurations and firewall settings.
  • Conduct software troubleshooting for applications such as Microsoft Office and other enterprise tools.
  • Maintain documentation of support activities and resolutions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in the management of computer hardware inventory and upgrades.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with end-users and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with VPN, firewall, LAN, and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with support tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy is preferred.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and resolving hardware problems.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware components and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Nice-to-have skills include experience with Microsoft Office, Operating Systems, and familiarity with Linux environments. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology support who thrive in customer service-oriented environments while continuously expanding their technical skill set.
