What we are looking for
We are looking for a full-time support specialist to provide pre and post sales support to our worldwide dealer network. Applicants will be expected to work Monday to Friday but may be required to provide support after hours or attend trade shows.
Responsibilities
- Provide after sales support and assist in troubleshooting Hartmann Controls products with new and existing dealers over the phone.
- Provide technical sales support assisting in specifications, system design and component selection.
- Assist the development team with testing and quality assurance of new and existing products.
- Assist with documentation or instructional videos for Hartmann Controls products.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must have willingness to learn as this is a highly technical and constantly evolving company. We are willing to invest time in training candidates with a desire to learn.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must have a positive attitude, the ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
- Must have experience troubleshooting and diagnosing software and networking issues within Microsoft Windows (Win 7+ , Windows Server and operating systems an asset)
- Must be a graduate of either a Networking or a Programing Course at college level or equivalent. Any additional accreditations A+, MCSE, Network+ will also be beneficial.
- Experience with troubleshooting, planning and deploying IP based networks is a major asset.
- Travel may be required within Canada and depending on the candidate out of country travel may be required as well thus a valid passport may be required. Preference will be given to local candidates.
