This is a part-time remote role for a Social Media Marketing. Preferably based in Toronto, ON, with occasional in-person meetups. You'll be responsible for creating and modeling social media content (both static and video), developing digital marketing strategies, and communicating our brand story across multiple platforms. You should be deeply familiar with social media trends, confident in front of the camera, and comfortable analyzing content performance.

I'm looking for someone who wants to grow with the business—think of this as a co-founder–in-spirit role where you'll touch many parts of the brand as we evolve.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, create, model and post static and video content across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Develop digital marketing strategies and execute marketing campaigns
  • Research trends and create content that aligns with the everydate voice and mission
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with our online community—responding to DMs and comments with warmth and personality
  • Analyze performance metrics to help us understand what content resonates
  • Collaborate directly with the founder to brainstorm and pitch fresh ideas

What You Bring

  • Experience creating social-first content (both static graphics and short-form video)
  • Be comfortable in front of the camera—occasionally modeling and promoting our pieces in video content
  • Strong understanding of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for aesthetics and storytelling
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Bonus:
    Previous experience with a small brand environment

Compensation

We're a small (one person, but mighty) sole proprietorship, so while our budget is modest now, there's room to grow—just like us.

$15–18 CAD/hour
