WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist who is excited to elevate the advice capabilities our Mortgage Specialists can provide to clients, centers of influence, and communities through digital connections.

This is a highly collaborative role, in which you will help shape and execute digital strategies to connect our specialized advisors to their clients and COIs. As part of this work, you will manage the acquisition, nurturing, and thought leadership content strategies, develop inspiring and engaging digital content that engages a wide range of audiences and reflects the organization's values, voice, and tone. You must possess the judgment and writing skills to be one of the public voices of the organization online.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • A strategic and creative storyteller with experience in developing and executing impactful digital communications strategies and content, as well as in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and trends.

You are responsible for:

  • The position has national accountability to provide input and assist Sales Enablement and Communications with identifying, planning, managing, tracking, and reporting on digital marketing initiatives.
  • The role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the Mortgage Specialist profile externally and maximizing the effectiveness of distribution partners across the organization.
  • This position will help strategize and create content for Mortgage Specialist public-facing digital channels, manage digital marketing campaigns, and support the design and delivery of internal sales enablement digital tools and corresponding materials.
  • Coordinating market research, marketing strategy, advertising, and promotional activities.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and reporting information on industry, customer, and competitive activities as well as trends.
  • Acting as the primary digital marketing liaison between the business, legal, and compliance teams to assure regulatory compliance for all digital marketing materials.
  • Creating and maintaining reporting to track and learn from campaign results, marketing expenses, and other management information.
  • Leading web content development and maintenance, as well as future digital tactics including but not limited to email campaigns, external public sites, and internal digital sales tools.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key internal teams.

Core deliverables:

  1. Translate thought leadership content into advisor-friendly terminology and actionable client insights.
  2. Develop sales enablement tools that give advisors the ability to customize content with their own value proposition prior to sharing with clients.
  3. Go to market faster with timely and relevant content and update sales enablement content within hours rather than days.
  4. Create customizable, marketing-approved templates to reach clients and COIs (introductions to partners, customization of bios for individuals or teams, bios, events, and referral templates).

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • Minimum of five years of digital communications experience, with an emphasis on social media copywriting, content creation, and account maintenance.
  • Experience with, passion for, and knowledge of social media and other digital communications platforms, audiences, engagement strategies, and measurement tools and metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, editing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects at once, with an interest in both independent and collaborative work.
  • Intellectual curiosity, flexibility, and a desire to tackle challenging problems.

  • Experience in the Mortgage Lending or Brokerage space.
  • Experience in graphic design programs.
