Beretta Catering is looking for a chef de partie to join our Beretta Herd in the Kitchen.

Job Description
Key duties include supervising junior staff, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting with menu development under a sous chef or head chef.
Core responsibilities
- Food preparation: Prepare and execute dishes for menu items assigned according to established standards.
- Station management: Oversee and manage all meats and protein requirements menus.
- Quality control: Ensure all dishes meet the required standards for quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Hygiene and safety: Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment and follow all health and safety regulations.
- Menu assistance: Help the sous chef and head chef with menu development and creating new dishes.
- Waste and cost control: Monitor portion sizes to minimize waste and be aware of kitchen profit margins.
- Inventory management: Ensure the section has adequate supplies and that ingredients are properly stored and used.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong culinary and cooking skills.
- Leadership and delegation abilities.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a catering kitchen.
- Excellent professional skills
- Expertise in your assigned section (grill/sauce/soup/sides).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative and team-oriented attitude.
- Passion for cooking and continuous learning.
- Professional education.
- Red Seal holder is beneficiary.
- Hours will depend on event schedule.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
