Vancouver BC VE A, Canada DAVISON NORTH LAW Full time

Our boutique law firm is currently seeking an entry level legal assistant for our law practice in downtown Vancouver starting immediately or in January. Our firm practices civil litigation (not including personal injury or family law) and corporate/commercial law. We are looking for a full-time person but are open to part time or Monday to Thursday for the right person. The starting wage is based on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for someone who wants to work in an office and is curious about law. We are not necessarily looking for someone with any legal assistant training. This is an entry level job, and we can teach you what you need to know. The person we are looking for has a great attitude and work ethic. They have had jobs in customer service, restaurants, sales, or retail…some real-world job experience. We are not particular about the type of jobs, but experience working with people and dealing with the public are great experience.

The right candidate will be fluent in written and spoken English and ideally would be able to speak another language. Ukrainian or Chinese would be ideal. We would like someone who is comfortable using computers and the Microsoft Office programs.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please send us your CV. A cover letter is optional.

We are looking for someone to start after the holidays, but we are flexible on the start date.

We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted. To apply, please email your cover letter and resume, with salary expectations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
