As **Switchboard/Receptionist**, your primary function is to provide main reception/switchboard services for Vancouver Regional Centre. To prepare incoming/outgoing mail for distribution; to assist in the development of mail procedures and schedules; to perform other related duties as required.
**Key accountabilities include, but aren't limited to**:
a) Operate a multi-line switchboard, answer inquiries, screen calls, assess needs of caller and direct to appropriate person;
b) Greet and direct visitors to correct floor or office after notifying staff of visitor’s arrival;
c) Maintain procedure manual for reception/switchboard desk;
d) Monitor and assign incoming admin support tickets to appropriate team members

- You have grade 12 education supplemented by office/business courses
- minimum 1 year relevant experience, preferably on a multi-line switchboard
- basic skill in MS Word
- basic skill in MS Outlook
- basic skill in MS Excel
- minimum typing speed 40 wpm
- OR an equivalent combination of education/experience
