We are seeking exam room assistants to support the hospital in delivering patient care efficiently and compassionately. This position is vital to maintaining the smooth flow of patients and clients through the hospital. Responsibilities include admitting patients and clients into the exam room, obtaining relevant history, and taking the patients vitals before the veterinarian's examination. You will assist the veterinarian by taking notes for medical records and assisting with patient restraint. After the treatment plan is discussed, you will coordinate with other staff members to ensure necessary treatments, medications, and home care instructions are completed. Essentially, you serve as the liaison between the hospital and the client.

Qualifications that will help you perform this job well:

You MUST HAVE a warm, caring, extroverted personality, love animals and want to excel at your position. You should have familiarity with basic medical terminology or have a Veterinary Office Assistant Certificate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
