We are looking for a full-time MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT to join our team at iHealthMD Medical Centre, Located in the heart of Central Lonsdale.
SHIFTS: Full Time (37.5 hrs/week) No late evenings, occasional Saturday coverage
A successful candidate will have;

What the job entails;
- Provide reception and excellent patient service skills
- Answer telephones
- Respond to emails in a timely, efficient manner
- Running rooms for in-office physicians which includes, taking patient height and weight, eye tests, placing patients in the exam room, cleaning exam rooms in between patients, conducting pregnancy and urine tests, packaging pathology samples, etc.
- Book appointments in person or via phone
- Filing and attaching reports to patient charts
- Communicating directly with physicians to be the connection to patients
- Managing no-show or late cancellation appointments
- Process payments
- Bill to extended health insurers, ICBC, WCB, MSP, and other 3rd party vendors
- Prepare Invoices and records for insurance and legal requests
- Strong team player with an excellent attitude
