You are enthusiastic about learning and learning technology. In addition to supporting the day-to-day administration of the corporate learning management system (LMS), you apply accepted principles of business development, project
management and continuous quality improvement (CQI) to drive corporate-level processes for learning program development. In collaboration with academic and industry partners, you explore, identify, and promote best application
methodologies of the following resources and technologies: Simulation, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Arts. You have demonstrated success in a similar role. 

Additionally, the successful candidate will

• Ensure LMS alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g. Ministry of Labour reporting; AODA standards, and adherence to copyright standards and restrictions)

• Develop an e-learning module development template, that connects andragogy with technology, for use by HHS staff content experts to ensure standardization and branding

• Provide assistance in identifying/assessing appropriateness of the technological method use for the instructional material

• Coordinate corporate-level programming (e.g. hospital, nursing and health professional orientation)

• Teach at selected corporate-level programs (e.g. Preceptor workshops)

• Develop tools and processes to support learning program development by staff to increase overall corporate capacity

• Develop and providing staff with strategies and methods that most effectively match the learning strategy (technology) with learning need and desired outcomes
 

Qualifications - External
Undergraduate degree in related discipline (e.g. Adult Education, Educational Technologies, Instructional Design)
Additional certifications in Business Analysis, Project Management, Curricula Design, and/or Certified Project
Management
5+ years of curricula design, corporate LMS administration
5+ years of project management
2+ years of change management
Healthcare industry expertise preferred
Good working knowledge of

• Principles of andragogy applied to adult learning

• Instructional design (e.g. ADDIE)

• Current and future trends in learning technology and its application

• Evaluation strategies (e.g. ROI methodology)

• Business development

• Project management

• Learning management systems

• Change management

• Stakeholder engagement

• Web design software and principles

• eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate, Storyline)
