Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a Electric Counterbalance forklift and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Operate forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement of goods in designated areas.
  • Perform order picking tasks using a warehouse management system to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as needed, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills

  • Proficient in warehouse distribution processes with hands-on experience operating forklifts and clamp trucks.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
  • Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
