Injection Molding Machine Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics injection molding and possess mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various machinery. This role is essential for ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Duties
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting issues with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and other automated systems.
- Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques to make adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes, implementing lean manufacturing principles where applicable.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and quality control measures.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in plastics injection molding or related manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CNC machining, including CNC lathe operation, is a plus.
- Experience with plastics blow molding, extrusion processes, and press brake machines will be considered an advantage.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Knowledge of materials handling practices and warehouse operations is beneficial.

Pay: $18.70-$35.66 per hour
