Job Title: Full-Cycle Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a hands-on accounting professional to oversee all aspects of our bookkeeping and financial processes. This role requires someone who is confident managing the full accounting cycle, including invoicing customers, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and government remittances.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting functions
  • Process invoicing with retainers and holdback
  • Process Payroll
  • AP and AR
  • Process government remittances (HST, WSIB etc.)
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions
  • Oversee and coordinate with support staff as needed
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial workflow

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
  • Experience using
    Sage 100 ERP
    is strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive work ethic
