Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Manage inventory by stocking, labeling, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies
  • Prepare prescriptions for dispensing, including counting, labeling, and packaging medications
  • Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
  • Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient information
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including proper storage and handling of medications
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining documentation
  • Stay informed about new medications and updates in medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations

Qualifications

  • Previous hospital or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
  • Must have good working knowledge of Kroll Software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety standards
  • Prior experience in patient care is a plus but not required
  • Certification as a pharmacy technician or related training is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 28 per week
