Job description

  • Include but are not limited to, running a variety of stone saw machines.
  • Perform work quality checks and monitor machine output each hour and generate comprehensive reports for management.
  • Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
  • Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects.
  • Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company.
  • Loading and operate and maintain equipment.
  • Read and follow production diagrams.
  • Understand measurements
  • Follow all company safety protocols.
  • Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift.
  • Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions.
  • Reading measurements
  • Updating calendar (Google calendar)
  • Attention to detail

Willing to train applicant. Need to be determined, reliable, and have a strong work ethic, also applicants should have experience with heavy labor, as there is lifting involved.

  • Must be safety conscious as it is a warehouse with lots of different elements and moving parts.
  • Forklift license is a plus.
  • Experience is also an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

  • Mount Uniacke, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
