Job Title:
Duck Creek Policy Developer
Work Location:
Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Required Experience:
07+ Years
Technical Skills (Primary):
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT with at least 4 years in Duck Creek Policy development
- Strong hands-on experience with Duck Creek Author Express and Manuscript tools
- Deep understanding of insurance domain concepts especially PC Property Casualty
- Lead the design development and implementation of Duck Creek Policy solutions
- Collaborate with business analyst's architects and client stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team
- Ensure high-quality code delivery and adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide strategic input
- Support integration with third-party systems and legacy platforms
Technical Skills (Secondary, Nice to have NOT MANDATORY):
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Soft Skills:
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong ability to work with client stakeholders mid and Senior level
