Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary skills in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients to meet our standard
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, workstations and all areas of the kitchen
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures set in place
  • Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and maintaining communication
  • Adhere to health regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe dining experience for guests

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
  • Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
  • Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
  • Dedicated to continually improving culinary skills
  • Open-mindedness to new experiences and learning opportunities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
