Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Line Cook located in Calgary, AB. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items according to standardized recipes, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene. Daily tasks include assisting in inventory management, coordinating with kitchen staff for efficient food preparation, and ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards. The Line Cook will also play a role in maintaining a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and understanding of kitchen tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Skills in time management, multitasking, and maintaining efficiency under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role or culinary training is an asset but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended hours and perform repetitive tasks
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
