Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering student development, and implementing engaging instructional strategies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with disabilities and special education needs
  • Utilize effective communication skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues
  • Incorporate technology and computer skills to enhance learning experiences
  • Manage classroom activities efficiently, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills
  • Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and school programs
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
  • Support the social-emotional development of students through leadership and mentorship
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed consistently within the classroom setting

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education programs is a plus
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in computer operation and educational software applications
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in education, child development, or related fields are desirable
  • Passion for teaching, patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in student success

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.80-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
