Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team in an on-site capacity at our Brampton, ON location. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations. Additional responsibilities include managing payroll, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and assisting in financial audits. Collaboration with other departments to provide financial insights and support will also form part of the daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance with tax regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software, financial data analysis, and budgeting
  • Attention to detail and skills in preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and conducting audits
  • Time management and organizational abilities to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience in the real estate industry is an asset
