Overview:
G.N Transport Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial auditing. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks Online is highly desirable for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Invoicing
- Manage all aspects of A/R, A/P
- Payroll and payroll remittances
- HST Preparation and Remittances
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements and bank
- General Ledger maintenance
- Job Costing
- Monthly financial reports for management
- Filing
- Perform other general office duties as needed
- Assist in all areas of operation as requested by management
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Experience in bookkeeping is an asset
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel and Macintosh OS)
- QuickBooks Online
- Professional presentation and conduct
- Must be responsible and self-managed
- Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills
- Must be detail-oriented
