What You'll Do

As Executive Chef, you'll take the lead in all things culinary - from menu innovation and banquet service to training, culture, and cost control. You'll nurture talent, elevate the guest experience, and ensure that every plate leaving your kitchen represents our brand with pride.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and mentor the culinary team to deliver excellence in both food quality and guest experience.
  • Design innovative, seasonal menus that reflect creativity, efficiency, and brand alignment.
  • Inspire and develop your team through coaching and positive leadership - growing skills, confidence, and cohesion.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, and food/labour costs with an eye for efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain a spotless focus on safety, sanitation, and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership to drive catering and banquet growth opportunities.
  • Personally engage in service during key functions and events to ensure a consistent guest experience.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, procurement, and compliance documentation.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of progressive culinary leadership in a full-service restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • Proven success in leading, training, and motivating diverse teams.
  • A calm, professional leadership style that builds trust and respect.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of budgets, inventory, and cost control.
  • Creativity in menu design and a passion for staying current with culinary trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you know how to connect with people.
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
  • Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
