RAPS is Seeking a Full time Health Care Aide to assist an Individual with Dementia (E14)

Location: South Edmonton (Terwillegar)

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:00am-2:00pm

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to manual and mechanical transfers, personal care (changing of incontinent products, showering, dressing and toileting) meal preparation and feeding assistance, cueing and redirection, supervision and companionship.

Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a clear criminal record check containing the vulnerable sector, a driver's license and vehicle for commute and be a non-smoker. Must have the health care aide certificate with Dementia experience. Candidates must be able to speak in clear, fluent English. The ideal candidate will kind, compassionate and patient.

Rate of Pay: $20-25/hour depending on qualifications and experience
