Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals who require assistance with daily activities, health management, and emotional well-being.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare or caregiving environments and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. This is a paid, flexible position with the potential to transition from casual to full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor and document client health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals as needed
  • Administer medications and treatments according to care plans, under appropriate supervision
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote overall mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Coordinate transportation and support for medical appointments and follow-up care
  • Educate family members on caregiving techniques and health management strategies
  • Maintain a safe living environment by identifying and addressing potential safety hazards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior experience in healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, trauma centers, teaching hospitals, or post-acute/sub-acute care is highly desirable
  • Experience with Geriatrics, Medical-Surgical units, PICU, OR settings, or outpatient clinics is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently while following care plans accurately
  • Valid driver's license required (must be able to drive between client locations as needed)
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is an asset but not mandatory
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing high-quality in-home care

Schedule & Availability

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Immediate Need: Morning availability from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Evening shifts also available
  • Flexibility is required for occasional coverage at other client locations

Position Type

  • Casual / Part-Time

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
