RAPS is Seeking a Full time Overnight Caregiver to assist an Individual with Parkinson's- Freezing (E10)

Location: South Edmonton (Terwillegar Heights)

Hours/Days: 5 days a week (Saturday to Wednesday) * Flexible

_ 11pm-6am* Partial awake _

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: personal care (peri care, toileting, dressing, bathing/showering, face washing, oral hygiene), manual transfers, medication administration, soothing client back to sleep throughout the night.

Please note: Scent free home. Must be willing to accommodate.

Qualifications and Other Requirements: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion be a non-smoker and have the ability to wake multiple times nightly to provide care.

Having a valid HCA Certificate and/or a 1-year experience in the health care field and have a class 5 driver's license and vehicle is considered an asset.

Candidate must be physically fit to perform manual transfers and be dependable.

Preference given to candidates who can speak Hindi or Panjabi.

Rate of pay: $15.00 hour
