Product and Wellness Operations Manager

Goods is an independent wellness store and organic smoothie bar built around high-quality supplements, thoughtful product recommendations, and a strong local community. Supplements are central to our business, and how we manage, speak about, and sell them matters.
We're looking for a Product and Wellness Operations Manager with prior supplement or wellness industry experience to take ownership of product knowledge, supplement sales, and product operations, while also supporting the day-to-day flow of the store.
This is a hands-on, floor-based role. You will be actively selling supplements, working alongside the team, and ensuring our product inventory is received, priced, and managed accurately.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
On the floor
The majority of your role will be spent on the floor.
- Engage customers and confidently recommend vitamins and supplements based on their needs
- Ask thoughtful questions and provide clear, informed guidance
- Serve as a trusted in-store resource for supplement questions
- Support smoothie bar operations during busy periods
- Lead by example and help maintain a welcoming, organized store environment
Product operations
- Receive incoming product shipments and ensure accuracy
- Manage product pricing and labeling
- Maintain organized, well-stocked, and visually clear supplement displays
- Monitor inventory levels and flag reorders or discrepancies
- Support overall product accuracy across the store
Store and team support
- Open and close the store as a key holder
- Help maintain organization across bar and retail areas
- Uphold FoodSafe and health and safety standards
- Support the team on shift and assist with day-to-day decision-making
- Identify and help resolve issues as they arise
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
This role requires existing supplement or wellness retail experience, as product knowledge and confident customer guidance are core to the position. Applications without this background will not be considered.
- Prior experience in the supplement or wellness industry
- Confidence discussing digestion, sleep, stress, energy, and general wellness with customers
- Experience selling supplements directly to customers
- Comfort taking ownership of inventory-related responsibilities
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
- Experience with inventory receiving, pricing, or stock management
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- FoodSafe certification or willingness to obtain it
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
- 30+ hours per week
- Majority of shifts are on the floor
- Compensation will reflect experience, responsibility, and product expertise
- Opportunity to grow with the business over time
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
