POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable Team Member position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying financial data, and ensuring timely and accurate payments using the SAP system. This role supports the finance team in maintaining accurate records, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to month-end closing activities.

Responsibilities:
- Process and post supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments in SAP accurately and efficiently.
- Match invoices with purchase orders (PO) and goods receipts (GR) using the three-way matching process.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements; resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor AP aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances or payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Prepare payment runs (EFT, wire transfers, cheques) and obtain required approvals.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing by preparing accruals, reconciliations, and reports.
- Maintain vendor master data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to resolve invoice or PO issues.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Education/Skills/Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a SAP environment.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, purchase orders, and general ledger coding.
- Proficient in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) module and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
