Overview

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Kitchen Helper to support several production shifts throughout December. This role involves hands-on prep work, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with high-quality food production in a commercial kitchen. Shifts may vary between day, evening, and occasional late-night work. Candidates must be able to travel to and from the location independently at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation following clear instructions
  • Portion, weigh, mix, and handle ingredients safely
  • Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation practices
  • Keep equipment and prep areas clean, organized, and food-safe
  • Lift and move items up to 50 lbs
  • Support packaging, labeling, and general production tasks
  • Work effectively with the team and communicate any issues promptly

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable, responsible, and keeps their word
  • Quick learner; follows instructions accurately
  • Comfortable working with hands and around food
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Able to work flexible shift times (day or late-night as needed)
  • Food Handler Certificate is an asset
