Duties

  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Support cooks and chefs by providing necessary ingredients and supplies during meal preparation.
  • Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in cleaning tasks after meal service, ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for the next shift.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
