The Opportunity: The Fathers Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the design of a service delivery plan focused on the life cycle in preparing men for roles at each stage of life, specific to healing and revitalizing the role of young men, fathers, and grandfathers in CSFS Nations.

  • Based on guidance from the Father's Wellness Advisory Committee, advocates for services, policies, and practices that address men's specific health needs.
  • Coordinates the development of men's wellness services and ensures the voices of men are included in CSFS program planning.
  • Works as part of an integrated team with CSFS health and social service providers, and in collaboration with key external interest holders to ensure coordinated, high-quality services for men.
  • Builds relationships with community members, facilitating group activities, and promoting awareness of men's wellness resources and services.

What You Will Bring to The Role:

  • Diploma in Health or Social service-related field preferred. A bachelor's degree is considered an asset.
  • Equivalent experience in Carrier Culture, men's health or related activities, program management and/or project delivery, with an emphasis on social determinants of health.

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $ to $ per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants' role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
