Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children, ages 4 and 6, after school, Mondays to Fridays from 3-6pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children while engaging them in educational and fun activities. In case of any allergies, please note that there is a dog in the home. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Duties

  • Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
  • Maintain cleanliness in the home, including tidying up after meals and playtime
  • Provide personal care as needed, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting
  • Skills in cooking and meal preparation to ensure healthy eating habits
  • Familiarity with cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy living space
  • A nurturing attitude combined with patience and understanding when caring for children
