About Us
Parallel Brothers is a modern Middle Eastern restaurant and tahini manufactory founded by the Ozery brothers. Our menu features bold, fresh flavours — think hummus bowls, herbed falafel, and creative salads — all rooted in our deep love for sesame butter (tahini) and Mediterranean tradition.
In the retail arm, we offer baked goods like cookies and babka, house-made halva and a wide range of dips, salads and house made spice blends.
As the Production Baker on our team, you'll help bring to life the bakery side of our brand making high-quality, small-batch items that reflect the same care, creativity, and culinary integrity as our restaurant food.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare, scale, mix, and bake a variety of baked goods: cookies, crackers, brownies and
other sweet treats.
● Follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency in product quality.
● Work to meet production schedules.
● Monitor and maintain the quality and shelf life of bakery items.
● Maintain accurate batch records, ingredient usage logs, and inventory tracking.
● Assist in receiving, rotating, and storing bakery ingredients.
● Operate and clean bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, etc.
● Uphold food safety, sanitation, and workplace hygiene standards in the bakery area.
● Identify and troubleshoot any production or quality issues, suggesting improvements as
needed.

● Curious and enthusiastic about baking
● Highly organized
● Maintains a clean and tidy workspace
● Excellent attention to detail, especially for shaping, finishing, and consistency.
● Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a
tight-knit team.
● Comfortable juggling production demands, adapting to changing daily needs.
● Basic math skills (measuring, scaling batches).
● Food safety and sanitation mindset.
