We are a well-established and growing HVAC wholesaler based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, proudly serving residential and commercial contractors across Atlantic Canada. Our company supplies high-quality HVAC installation accessories, components, and related mechanical products — trusted by professionals for reliability, availability, and service excellence.

As part of our ongoing expansion, we're seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative with strong technical knowledge and a passion for building relationships in the HVAC industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow customer accounts within your assigned territory, maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors, distributors, and mechanical companies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC sectors.
  • Promote and demonstrate products, providing technical information and practical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Introduce and launch new products to the market while supporting marketing and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with inside sales, operations, and purchasing teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfillment.
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to support strategic planning and identify growth opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows, supplier events, and customer visits to represent the company and expand market presence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in HVAC, mechanical, or building-supply industries (outside sales experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, heat pumps, ventilation products, and installation accessories.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships with contractors and key accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Nova Scotia (occasional travel to other Atlantic provinces may be required).
