Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of visual design principles and have experience in creating engaging graphics for various platforms. You will work closely with the workshop to produce high-quality designs that align with our brand identity and marketing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including logos, brochures, websites, and social media content.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications while adapting designs based on feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in graphic design, digital design, and marketing strategies to ensure innovative solutions.
  • Present design concepts effectively to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs.
  • Prepare graphic files for print and production, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
  • Interpret client requests and develop design concepts, producing visual proofs for presentation and approval.
  • Fabricate and assemble a wide variety of signage, including custom and large-scale projects.
  • Experience with large format printers, plotters, and signage production is highly valued.
  • Apply vinyl graphics with precision and attention to detail.
  • Operate CNC routers and related equipment for signage manufacturing.
  • Oversee material inventory, ensuring stock availability and proper equipment maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CorelDRAW.
  • Diploma in Graphic Design would be an asset.
  • Strong understanding of typography and visual design fundamentals.
  • Previous experience in logo design and digital marketing is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
