Cinch Communications Inc. is a dynamic and growing advertising agency based in Red Deer, Alberta. We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Social Media Content Creator to join our talented team. We're passionate about helping our clients build strong brands through engaging and effective communication, and we're looking for someone who shares that drive and energy.

About the Role

As our Graphic Designer & Social Media Content Creator, you'll be the creative force crafting the visuals and messages that make our clients stand out. From designing polished graphics to writing scroll-stopping captions and producing short-form video content, you'll shape the online presence of a wide range of brands.

What You'll Be Doing:

Content Creation & Design

• Graphic Design: Producing high-quality graphics, illustrations, social media templates, branding elements, and campaign visuals using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software.
• Video & Reel Production: Filming, editing, and producing social media video content—including Reels and TikToks—paired with trending sounds for organic reach.
• Content Writing: Crafting engaging, on-brand copy for posts, captions, and stories across client accounts.
• Content Planning: Building and maintaining monthly content calendars that support client goals, promotions, and brand narratives.

Platform Management

• Publishing: Scheduling and posting content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and Hootsuite.
• Community Engagement: Monitoring comments, messages, and mentions to maintain active engagement and build relationships.
• Trend Awareness: Staying ahead of platform-specific trends, aesthetics, tools, and algorithm shifts.

Analytics & Reporting

• Performance Tracking: Reviewing metrics such as reach, engagement, saves, clicks, and conversions to evaluate performance.
• Optimization: Using analytics to refine creative direction and content strategy.
• Reporting: Preparing reports for internal use or client presentations.

Collaboration

• Internal Teamwork: Working closely with our creative, content, and marketing teams to align content with broader campaigns and client strategies.
• Client Collaboration: Communicating with clients to understand objectives, present ideas, and incorporate feedback.

Additional Responsibilities

• Influencer or partner outreach (as required per client).
• Staying aware of new features and emerging platforms to keep our strategies competitive.
• Basic knowledge of marketing, branding, and storytelling principles.

Candidates who bring extra abilities in graphic design, creative strategy, or light website/SEO familiarity may have opportunities for expanded or permanent work after the contract concludes. We love multi-talented creatives who can grow with our agency
