Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading freight.
- Perform minor automotive repairs or maintenance on delivery vehicles when necessary.
Requirements
- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving preferred, with knowledge of freight handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
