We are currently seeking a CWB Certified Structural Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in structural welding and metal fabrication, with a focus on quality, precision, and safety in a high-performance environment.

(On-site, shop-based role)

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics to plan and execute welds accurately.
  • Perform CWB-standard welds including MIG, stick, and flux-core processes on a variety of metals and thicknesses.
  • Ensure weld quality, proper penetration, and visual aesthetics of all finished welds.
  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections on welds, identifying and correcting defects as needed.
  • Operate fabrication tools and shop equipment such as hoists, grinders, saws, and measuring devices.
  • Maintain welding equipment through regular cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to meet production timelines and quality targets.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • CWB Certification (current and valid) – REQUIRED
  • Minimum 3 years of structural welding and fabrication experience – REQUIRED
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and welding symbol interpretation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, squares, etc.).
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy components and standing for extended periods.
  • High attention to detail, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $25.00–$35.00 per hour (Based on experience and qualifications)
  • Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week, must be willing and able to work shift work and overtime as required.
