Associate Therapist (MSW, RSW) – Trauma-Informed & Perinatal Focus

Location: St. Catharines, ON

Contract Type: Independent Contractor

Maternal Health Niagara is growing We're seeking a warm, reflective, and ethically grounded Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) to join our trauma-informed, attachment-based team.

Our therapists are trained in perinatal mental health, and we support a diverse range of clients across the lifespan — including those navigating trauma, parenting, identity, relationships, and life transitions. Our clinical work is grounded in nervous system regulation, attachment, and attuned, compassionate care.

In-person sessions at our St. Catharines office

Who We're Looking For

You're a values-aligned, skilled clinician who is:

Registered and in good standing with the OCSWSSW and residing in Ontario (MSW, RSW)

Experienced (2+ years) in clinical settings

An asset if comfortable working with couples

Trained in trauma modalities (e.g., EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic, FLASH, IFS)

Grounded in attachment-based and bottom-up approaches

Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and crisis response

Knowledgeable in the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA) and duty to report

Able to work independently and collaboratively

Covered by professional liability insurance by start date

Willing to complete perinatal mental health training upon joining (self-funded)

Available for evening sessions (minimum 4 sessions after 5 PM per week)
