QUALIFICATIONS: - Completion of a Master's degree program in Theology or Spiritual Care - Membership with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC/ACSS) is required - Registration (or in the process of registering) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) - Up to two (2) years of relevant clinical experience - Superior knowledge of issues, principles and practices related to spiritual and religious care - Evidence of effective organizational, leadership, judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skills - Good working knowledge of Professional and Clinical Ethics - Ability to work effectively within an inter-professional team - Multicultural and multi-faith sensitivity and awareness of various faith practices and rituals - Ability to plan and engage patients in regular spiritual services - Interest in providing education of Spiritual Care - Consistent and regular attendance required - Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset - In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and the Ontario Human Rights Code, Niagara Health will provide accommodations through the recruitment process to applicants with disabilities.
