Rise Counselling Clinic is seeking a professional and self-aware psychotherapist to join our team on a full-time and/or part-time basis. You will work as an independent contractor, enjoying all the freedom and flexibility the arrangement has to offer. The practice is flexible and located in a beautiful, newly renovated office in a busy medical building with lots of exposure. Compensation is generous with a session-based fee split that includes free supervision, free onsite parking, a great space to work in suite facilities and everything else needed to practice, without any of the administrative headaches.

Competence to provide a trauma-informed approach to therapy is an asset. The Psychotherapist will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on enhancing the emotional well-being of clients through evidence-based practices.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide regular availability and conduct counselling/therapy sessions with clients as scheduled.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments of clients' needs and goals.
- Contribute to a welcoming and supportive work environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional standards.
- Maintain professional standards and remain in good standing with your college.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychotherapy.
- Prioritize clinician wellbeing and attend regular supervision.

**Skills**
- Experience in providing counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families or groups.
- Training or certification to work with specialized populations, is an asset.
- Ability to recognize risks and develop appropriate safety plans with clients.
- Ability to stay organized in a mainly self-directed work environment.
- Strong client care skills with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues.
